I am trying to create quizzes for my courses. I would like to create a quiz from the back end. I have added 25 courses. I have also connected these courses to specific products in the store. Now I would like to add quizzes to these courses. I have added questions under "All questions" and now I would like to add the pool of questions to specific courses. I have several questions regarding the back-end creation of courses and quizzes.
Where is the option to add questions from the question bank to specific courses? I see where I can add a custom field, but I do not know what "value" to enter.
While editing the course, why is the drop down box empty for add quiz when I have already added questions?
What is the difference between a unit and a course? I added courses, but I did not add units.
What is a curriculum? And is the curriculum field required? I added courses, but I did not add "curriculum".
These courses will not have an instructor. Therefore, I would like the quizzes to be automatic. However, everything I pull up regarding creating courses relates to front-end creation (for an instructor). I would like to create the quizzes on the back end.

Course have a curriculum (like syllabus) and this syllabus includes units (like chapters) and quizzes (like tests) and assignments also . Please refer course creation to understand this more : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YShdb-tfNuc Questions can't be directly added to the course . Questions are used to include in a quiz which contains may questions in it . You can also add a single question in a unit . Refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/practice-quizzes-in-units/ Add quiz dropdown will show empty if you have not created a quiz which contains a group of questions . First please create a quiz add questions in it ,set it to auto evaluate and then goto course ,add the quiz . Refer for quiz creation : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k342Fu_opiA this is a video for creating the quiz from front end and it shows how to create a questions and a quiz both . As you have created the questions already you just have to add them in the quiz and set the quiz to auto evaluate .

Thanks. However, first, I specifically asked for course creation information through the admin panel. The link you provided shows course creation through the front end. I asked about quiz creation through the admin panel. Again, it appears that the link you provided is for front end course creation.

I have provided the quiz creation link of the front end so that you can refer to the settings part of the quiz and questions which is an important one and is similar from both ends  . I  mentioned in my reply about it : this is a video for creating the quiz from front end and it shows how to create a questions and a quiz both .
As you have created the questions already you just have to add them in the quiz and set the quiz to auto evaluate . Same thing goes for the course you create units just like any other post you create in wordpress in the backend and can then create a course ,include the units ,fill up all the settings field in the settings metabox of the course. Then provide the pricing of the course in course product metabox in the backend . If you have any queries you can ask it on here. I would recommend just create a course from front end and then try creating the course from backend .

OK I guess I'm not clear in what I'm asking: I already watched the beginning of that video before I started this forum. I already created 30 classes through the admin panel. So are you saying that I need to redo all of them from the front end? You said add the questions to the quiz. Can you give me step by step directions on how to do it from the admin panel because that video did not help me.

Also, when I click on the "shop" button, I want to be sure that it shows the list of products and when I click on the product, then I want to see the product description and not the actual course that is linked to the product. For instance, when I create a product in admin panel it gives me this link: http://entrepreneurbiztraining.com/product/employee-recruitment-6-week-course/ However, there 's no way to get to this link by shopping.

I added questions to quiz and I set it to auto evaluate. However, I cannot input the answers for "fill in the blank" questions. Also, one I submitted "matching' questions, the quiz results would not auto calculate. Please advise.

Please refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/auto-evaluate-quiz-not-working/ Please also note that in case of sort match multiple correct type questions  please make sure you do not put spaces after the comma in correct answer field  .

Yes, I have all of my settings as stated. I have the same exact settings for the multiple choice quiz and it works fine. However, the fill in the blank quiz will not auto evaluate or allow students to input answers.

Hello, I have fixed the fill in the blank quizzes. However, now the quiz scores are not correct. It shows that 6 questions were correct out of a total of 7 but the score is showing 5/7. How do I change it to make sure that students see their score. Settings: Quiz passing score = 5 Negative marks per question = 1 Total marks for the quiz = 7   (7 questions and 1 mark per question)

This means it is evaluating correct . 7 questions all of 1 mark each -total marks - 7 Now only 6 were right - marks obtained by user without negative marking is  - 6 negative marking = 1 mark for each wrong question . So  Actual marks will be   : marks for the right answers  -  marks deducted for the 1 wrong answer 6 - 1  =
