October 10, 2020 at 3:44 pm #317513IPASpectatorHi, After the 4.0 upgrade, students are experiencing several issues on the course module. Note that when logged in as an administrator, all the following works normally. In my next reply I'll give you both admin and student access to our site so you can experience them. 1) The first issue is when a forum is associated to a unit classe, such as unit 3.1 "End of class assignment" from the Module 3 course. Instead of being able to write a reply, it asks students to be logged in (although they're already logged in). And by loggin in, it takes them elsewhere. When clicking on the “Click here to open forums in a new tab”, it takes them elsewhere as well. 2) The option to check a unit as complete was manual, and could be reverted. But now it automatically check it and they can’t uncheck it. 3) On the course module, some units from the left sidebar won't open by clicking on them. Also, when clicking on class 3.6f, it opens another class. Finally, class 3.6x is not shown, whereas it is shown as admin. 4) Last, the login menu works well, but the profile menu only takes them to the blog, no matter which tab they click on. Oddly enough, these issues is experienced by most of students but not all of them! Thanks for helping, we'd like to offer our students a decent learning experience soon.October 10, 2020 at 3:46 pm #317514IPASpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.October 12, 2020 at 11:49 am #317742VeronicaModeratorhi the delay in response due to support holiday i request you to please share a video with us and share exact URLs of the pages that you want us to test so we will check it on yours and as well as on our local to see if that's a bug or not? and for this: Oddly enough, these issues are experienced by most students but not all of them! if that's the issue then it will happen with all if it is happening with some user's then I will request you to check third-party plugins and also the cacheOctober 21, 2020 at 10:50 am #319834IPASpectatorHi Veronica, so I've investigated further these issue and found something important. Replying to forum topics associated to a course unit from within the course module is only available if you are logged in the wp system as well. It happens to all students and admin as well. Please see the following screenshots: Here I'm logged in both in the wplms and wp system. I can reply to the topic of the unit 2.1: https://cloud.disroot.org/s/tkJ8MZrWfJwFjX7 Then I log out from the wp system: https://cloud.disroot.org/s/X6fdrRJk7xtBW7J When I go back to the course module, unit 2.1, it asks me to login in order to reply to the topic: https://cloud.disroot.org/s/nmHg9RPYy2k2j8R Here is the url for you to test on our end: https://academy.integralpermaculture.org/members-directory/administrator/#component=course&action=course&id=6658October 22, 2020 at 1:45 pm #320148VeronicaModeratorok thanks for all the explanations and screenshots as per your guidance, I will replicate it on local as well and then update you it will take time so I will replicate it tomorrow so please ping us here thanksOctober 26, 2020 at 3:44 pm #320881IPASpectatorHi Veronica, could you work on the issue? thanksOctober 27, 2020 at 1:50 pm #321109VeronicaModeratorhi we have released the theme update please update the theme and plugins to the latest one and then check if you are still facing the sameOctober 28, 2020 at 8:37 am #321278IPASpectatorHi, I updated the theme but couldn't update the plugins VibeBP and WPLMS.
