DESIRED UX:
1. A non-user comes to the site and sees a Course that is not available yet.
2. He "Applies to enroll" by registering in MI or some similar way.
3. Admin gathers pre-enrollments and decides to release the course when sufficient users apply.
4. The user is now prompted to buy the Course that has been released and goes through Checkout. The Course is activated as usual.
I have tried to set this up via Apply for Course (Invite Student applications for Course) in the backend using this Course:
https://mundointerior.es/course/marketing-personal-para-ser-mas-feliz/
BUT the implementation is very poor (see attachments):
For non-users or not logged-in users
- the link does not work at all, linking to:
https://mundointerior.es/course/marketing-personal-para-ser-mas-feliz/?error=login#applycourse
For logged-in users
- The first time you apply, it kicks you to the home page without any confirmation.
- THe SECOND Time you apply, it just enrolls you directly (no payment process) and lets you start the course immediately (no order involved).
Should we invest any time on this, or should we go down some other path?
Well yes this is a bug , the apply course for visitors should trigger login popup which is not working right now .
