pdf upload in course creation

in curriculum area, we are uploading pdf. can you confirm whether user can upload multiple files with same name. I think, it's possible that wplms does not have any unique id/guid for each uploaded file? We have files with same name for multiple courses "Module 1.pdf' etc and maybe that is causing an issue?
