Hello, I have had many issues since I used WPLMS; most of them are coding problems, but anyway, I feel kind that the server is responsible for at least some of them.
Anyway, now my site is hosting in Bluehost (Shared Plan), the site total size almost 20 BG and there's at least 30 Course.
my Questions are:
1- Is Shared Plans affect the working of WPLMS, especially when it is getting big?
2- What's the best hosting type, is it shared or VPS or something else?
Thanks for your help in advance
1. Yes, shared hosting plans are not reliable. Your webhost can anytime switch off your plan. We recommend using a VPS or cloud hosting or metal , DO , Vultr etc.
2. Try Digital Ocean if you can manage servers, otherwise VPS seems to be best hosting platform.
Thanks for your help, but I want to clear something you said about the shared plan, lets suppose that the webhost won't switch off my plan (at least for now), will shared plan be reliable? I mean about the server resources to run the site.
If you enable Service worker and resilient PWA you are effectively reducing load on your server as content is cached and sent from the browser itself.
Technically shared hosting can even work but my point is that it is not reliable.
