Control the inactivity time of a student in a course or unit

Hi,
Is there a way to monitor student inactivity in a course? The association that manages this platform needs it to meet a series of requirements, one of which is the period of inactivity. We do not know if there is any way to control this issue, I mean, a student can be inside one of the Units of the course but without doing anything with which the time invested in this unit would not be real since the student can have the unit open without interacting/studying with it. Can this be controlled so that in the event that there is no interaction, the Administrator, Instructor and Student receive a message/email notifying them?
