Hi,
I just updated to the latest version 2.7.1 and I'm getting this error:
"You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
when I got to my dashboard (/wp-admin) and when I try to edit my user profile, otherwise I can freely change my website's plugins and everything else from my admin account. I searched in the forum and tried the advice you gave to other people but it didn't fix the problem, I deactivated all plugins and made sure everything important was upgraded to the latest version. Could I give you my login credentials to see if you can fix it? I've tried everything I can possibly think of.
Kyle

this is the same strange error that these users faced in this topic :
https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/you-do-not-have-sufficient-permissions-to-access-this-page-accessing-admin-2/
Please go through this topic .
We found out to be the issue from their setup itself .
the wordpress was not setting up their capabilities array(reason for wp-admin not accessible but alll other link in wp-admin are accessible ) .
this may arise due to incomplete update or some malware attack .
I would also like to mention here that in version 1.8 of wplms there were some vulnerability that can make any student as admin and also removes capabilities of admin .
So if you had 1.8 version of theme previously this error may occur .
I would likely ask you to do fresh clean setup which would be clean (no malware etc) and check if the issue appears there with the wplms theme activated?
