    Sorry for sounding stupid, but I assume you have a child theme available simply so I can make changes that won't be effected by theme updates. Where can I find this to download? https://propheticdreamers.com

    In your wplms package there is a folder child themes which contains all the child themes provided by us. If you do not want to change anything and want to use child theme purely for customization purpose only, then try using  wplms blank child theme.
