    Hello, This is a good child theme but i don't know why when i activate modern child theme the home page is gone while it works in the default theme (the home page is made by visual composer and it has no title in the template). PS: Please note that i dont use page builder. Thanks

    You need to import the home page. Get the Modern theme home page export code from this tip

    Yep. Modern theme looks like it could be awesome, however there are a few issues. - Get the Modern theme home page export code from this tip (THIS Doesn't work) - Blog. Is there only one layout for this? - I also get the following on sidebar of course pages. <span style="color: #313b3d; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">get_students_undertaking(array('number'=>9)); $students=get_post_meta(get_the_ID(),'vibe_students',true); echo '</span><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #bbbbbb; font-size: 12px; float: none; padding-top: 12px; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; text-align: center;">'.$students.__(' STUDENTS ENROLLED','vibe').'<span style="color: #313b3d; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">'; echo '</span> <ul style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 10px 0px 0px; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; list-style: none; padding: 0px; display: inline-block; float: none; width: 230.5px; color: #313b3d; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">'; $i=0; foreach($students_undertaking as $student){ $i++; echo ' <li style="box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; float: left; margin-left: 5px;">'.get_avatar($student).' '; if($i>5) break; } echo ' <span style="color: #313b3d; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;">'; ?></span>

    thank you for your replay but my question is : -what if my home page is created using visual composer (i have video background ans countdown...), it can be inserted in modern child theme, or there is only one page (export code) that can be used as a home page NB : - I dont use page builder - when i change page templete from no title to default the page work properly but with a white space on top   Thnak you again

    1. Home page - page template was not set to "No Title" 2. Following CSS was added in theme customizer .home section.title-area{display:none;} .home .page .content{padding-top:0;margin-top:0;} But it is not applied immediately because of caching 3. Following code was added : add_filter('wplms_login_widget_action','wplms_hide_my_wp_login_action'); function wplms_hide_my_wp_login_action($link){ $link .='?hide_my_wp=1234'; return $link; }   but it did not work. So login_modal.php was edited and action="<?php echo apply_filters('wplms_login_widget_action',home_url( 'wp-login.php', 'login-post' )); ?>" was changed to action="<?php echo apply_filters('wplms_login_widget_action',home_url( 'wp-login.php', 'login-post' )); ?>?hide_my_wp=1234" But once again above code is not reflected due to caching. Only when the cache is purged the above changes will reflect.

    There are some serious caching issues in your site. Even after clearing caches the page load show cached html. Can you try disabling w3 total cache, at the moment it seems to be slowing your site because it may have not been configured properly.
