Hi is it possible to remove access to the course when the pmpro user membership has ended? At the moment once the user with active membership signs up for the course he has unlimited access to it even after his pmpro expiries
When the pmpro membership expires then user do not get access to courses, when user try to access the course we check if the membership is active or not, if not then he cannot access it.
Please try to access the course and try to open its unit and you will see the user cannot access it (given the membership is expired).
I just checked when the membership expiries the user is still able to access the courses he already signed up for. He cant access courses he didnt start.

Please check the following:
a) Set the membership to expired and then check if the user is still accessing the course.
b) Remove the user from every membership and then check if the user is still able to access the course.
c) Please clarify if you have added the user from course admin into the course, or the user has actually puchased the membership and accessed the course.
a) checked, user still has access to the course on expiration. When the membership expires he is automatically set new membership Free User.
b)ok you are right, when removed all memberships from the user he is not able to access the course anymore. However this is a wplms bug. User can simply buy membership, start course, cancel membership, sign up for a different membership (e.g free membership) and he will gain access to courses for free.
c) user bought the membership and access to course himself
I am unable to replicate the issue on my test setup, it works fine at our end.
Please share the admin credentials with us and proper steps to replicate the issue.

Okay i checked your site and changed my membership level to be on free subscription and i was not able to take any of the course coz no course has free subscription connected .
you can confirm this by logging with the admin and check all courses .If any user able to to access course with free membership then check if you have connected free membership to that course .
The bug is still there, I set membership to paid started the course, changed membership to free. Accessed directly the course again as free user and i have access to all materials from that course.
Yesterday Alex checked your site and he found out you have selected all the memberships in the course (even the free membership).
This is why the user is able to access the course because the course is included in free membership.

NO THIS IS NOT THE REASON, I am telling you once again this IS a wplms BUG.
I have checked 10 times no FREE MEMBERSHIP level is added to the course. THIS is a bug which occurs in all coursed (over 200 courses on all 7 websites)
Maybe i was not able to replciate the issue correctly at your site but when i checked it was working absolutely fine .
Here are the steps that i followed :
Login to site (currently not having any membership) .
opened a course and purchases a paid membership forensics one .
Then check the course was able to access it .
Then changed the memberhip level to Free and again checked the course but was nto able to access the course this time .
Can you please share set of proper steps to replciate the issue on your site with proper links on your site .
