I am having issues with buddypress so I was going to uninstall and then reinstall it. I get this error code when clicking the deactivate button. Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_core_get_user_displayname() in /home/mwracademyadmin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php on line 1297
    1. Can I uninstall by removing from FTP and then reinstall without destroying the functionality?
    2. Is there something else I could try?
    3. Where can I find a list of compatible membership plugins?
    4. Is S2 Member supported?

Please install all the recommended plugins first when you activate the wplms theme . And also check if you have updated version of wplms theme (1.9..9.1) . Yes you can first deactivate the wplms theme and then delete the plugins and then activate the theme and install all the recommended plugins first and then go for the import  . Right now only paid membership pro plugin is fully compatible with the wplms . S2 member can be supported but not as much efficient as the pmpro . Please refer the tip to integrate wplms with s2 member  : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/integration-with-restrict-content-pro-or-other-membership-plugins/
