June 13, 2016 at 11:39 am #53093edudelightParticipantI am using WPLMS (version 2.0.8) with Demo1-Sample-Data in Wordpress 4.5.2. Want the <header> and the #headertop to be transparent at normal position. Added the CSS - header {background: rgba(0,0,0,.2);} and it's showing a solid grey header background. It's working for the #headertop (since my #headertop is sticky) only when scrolled down with the added CSS - #headertop {background: rgba(0,0,0,.2);}, but not when at the top. Any guidance is highly appreciated. This my site, http://edudelight.in/.June 14, 2016 at 12:12 pm #53247H.K. LatiyanParticipantThis is not possible to make default header as transparent because transparent header needs a background image (otherwise it will show grey background). So if you want the header to be transparent then use the transparent header style from appearance->customize->header->header style, choose transparent header there. If you don't want to change the header style then its not possible to make it transparent. You can create a feature request for this here: https://wplms.io/support/forums/forum/general/feature-request/June 15, 2016 at 8:50 am #53392edudelightParticipantChoosing transparent header does not make any difference. Already tried that and other styles too. It's not working anyway. Is it really not possible? Is it the WPLMS or the particular Demo1-Sample-Data that does not support transparent header? Really need the transparency.June 15, 2016 at 1:55 pm #53461Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you please try saving the settings after changing the header and then check your site in another tab ? I think there maybe some css that is causing this issue Please also share some screenshots with transparent header of your site . Please share admin credentials to check the issue at your end . PS: mark reply as private while sharing the credentials .June 15, 2016 at 5:37 pm #53519edudelightParticipantTried those too, but no luck. Here are the admin credentials. Please refer video in private reply .June 16, 2016 at 1:09 pm #53638June 21, 2016 at 7:47 am #54425edudelightParticipantMany thanks Alex. Tried this way earlier, but was unable to get the transparency. Now it is really good, but the header-top action bar has disappeared. Please guide me to get that back. In fact I wanted the header and the top action bar like the WPLMS Modern theme so that I could add extra menu and actions above the header and on scrolling, only the solid header would be visible as in the Modern theme or as it is now.June 22, 2016 at 1:09 pm #54704Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell top header is not available with transparent header as of now .If you want header like modern theme then you can use the modern theme itself . Please create a feature request for the header like modern theme in default wplms theme here : https://wplms.io/support/forums/forum/general/feature-request/
