Purchased and membership setup and student direction

I have two questions: 1 - I am using s2memberships plugin. When a member signs up they get access to all the courses but there are some courses I want to offer individually also. How do I set up a courses so that it can be purchased but also be available for the members too?   2 - When someone signs up to a membership via s2member they have to be assigned (and are automatically assigned) to that membership status which is not student. This means they are not directed to the student dashboard so how do I solve that?
