November 17, 2015 at 8:12 pm #9178ecarmonaParticipantI've been getting this problem a lot recently... and it wasn't happening before... I get 404 in the weirdest places, like when I'm trying to edit css it pops on the folders view, then it went inside the child theme style.css and overwrote all the css... right now every time I try to delete an user gives me a 404 instead of letting me delete it. I've been getting it so much, so so so much... that is starting to be really annoying. Does anyone knows why would this be happening?November 17, 2015 at 8:39 pm #9179ecarmonaParticipantJust so you know I can't delete a user at all... gives me 404 everytime but user is still there...November 18, 2015 at 10:00 am #9294Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you share the screenshot or video of the issue ?November 18, 2015 at 10:01 am #9295Anshuman SahuKeymasterTry deactivating the third party plugin and resaving the permalinks to postname .November 19, 2015 at 9:32 pm #9637ecarmonaParticipantHey Alex thanks for your answer! I deactivated loco translation and that let me delete the user. But the 404 error stills randomly happening... is so random that is hard to take a video but this is one of those moments and worries me that my client will freak out if that happens to him:November 20, 2015 at 1:23 pm #9781Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you share the url for which you are getting the 404 error . Have you tried resaving the permalinks to postname ?November 20, 2015 at 7:47 pm #9856ecarmonaParticipantit is everywhere on the site, front end and backend, sometimes I edit a post and gives me 404 and then I loose all the update... sometimes in the frontend is simple things like clicking on a link throws me a 404 that I know is a lie because the link is working fine... or I go to some area and then the 404 will load inside a tab or situations like that... I can't provide you with an unique area or tell you when it happens because is super random... do you need credentials? Site: http://pearhel.elitepreviews.com/November 21, 2015 at 7:36 am #9912Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease check the documentation for the necessary settings in wplms . If all settings are in place then share the urls where 404 happens and admin credentials to check this issue .December 3, 2015 at 8:49 pm #12100ecarmonaParticipantIssue is still happening, I think is wordpress problem, sometimes I'm editing posts and gives me the error twice in a row and I have to reedit twice in a row... sometimes I want to install a plugin and it gives me the error so I keep having to click back and reinstall / click update... sometimes I'm in quick edit mode and when I click update under the bottom all the html for 404 appears, and I click update again and it goes away and does that... if I can work in updating / creating content without a 404 in an hour is a record! on front end it happens too... is crazy, sharing credentials in the next post, I want to leave this one open in case I'm not the only human suffering from 404 sicknessDecember 3, 2015 at 9:14 pm #12104ecarmonaParticipantCredentials: U/N: guestdev P/W: dev@cont8128December 4, 2015 at 1:53 pm #12242Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease goto your admin panel open settings -> permalinks screens . Now delete the .htaccess file in your root directory and then come to wp-admin resave the permalinks to postname . Please try deactivating the third party plugins.December 4, 2015 at 8:50 pm #12277ecarmonaParticipantOk, will do... this is the reports I'm getting on 404 redirects, after 24 hours I have 9 pages showing how many redirects have happened that's why I'm worried, specially because I'm only using plugins recommended.December 4, 2015 at 9:32 pm #12279ecarmonaParticipant*Only should be Mostly, newer plugins have been installed after the 404 started happening. The area where I get the most redirection Ironic is on the plugin page and when I open a page with the visual composer tab.December 8, 2015 at 1:19 pm #12832Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease contact you webhost on this the profile pages are simply redirecting to your home page . This seems to be of server issue .Can you please try contacting your webhost on this . AS your screenshot depicts that even the wplms core theme files are showing the redirects . Please try contacting your webhost and try deactivating the third party plugin for once in your site .December 17, 2015 at 3:43 pm #14422ecarmonaParticipantwordpress update solved this
