November 19, 2015 at 1:46 am #9437howlunParticipantHi, I am having this issue here where Take this Course button should add the course straight to checkout (based on my settings in WPLMS/Misc). If the user is logged in, things work perfectly, user is brought straight to checkout for payment. But, if it is a guest, after he clicked on Take this Course button, he is redirected to an empty Cart. Do you know what causes this?November 19, 2015 at 1:49 am #9438howlunParticipantMy site is: http://learn.unidyo.com Test admin account: tester/123456November 21, 2015 at 6:04 am #9894Anshuman SahuKeymasterSince this issue is faced by your only and no other user have reported this issue ,we need a valid ftp credentials to debug this issue at your end .November 23, 2015 at 2:08 am #10077howlunParticipantFTP: Server IP/Domain: unidyo.com username: [email protected] password: v3MJQFwZwANovember 23, 2015 at 1:35 pm #10206Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe were unable to access your wplms files with those credentials .It is showing nothing to me when i log in with the given credentials please check : http://prntscr.com/95zdt6 Please share a valid ftp credentials .November 24, 2015 at 2:51 am #10281howlunParticipantHi, sorry for the mistake. I have corrected it, and verified. Please check again. Thank you.November 25, 2015 at 5:50 am #10478Anshuman SahuKeymasterWhile debugging this we're seeing a wierd behavior, refer screenshot : The control adds the product and redirects to checkout page, but then it redirects back to the cart page, which is really strange. Since this is the "only" case of such issue, we suspect this could be related to server settings. The Woocommerce session which holds the cart items clears out when redirecting to checkout page. Please try conntacting your webhost on this . Alternatively please try settings up your site on localhost setup and try replicating the same issue .November 25, 2015 at 10:31 am #10527howlunParticipantYes, we configured to go to checkout directly, skipping the cart and product page. The thing is, when user is logged in, there is no issue. Okay, I will try to deploy this on localhost for testing. Brb.November 26, 2015 at 2:30 am #10642howlunParticipantHi Support, Did you do something to the code manually and forgot to revert the change? We are getting weird behavior with testCookie get parameters. Please be reminded to remove all your test code. Thank youNovember 26, 2015 at 8:05 am #10704Anshuman SahuKeymasterNo we undid the changes that we have done when we tested some codes . Please clear you browser cookies and check again .November 27, 2015 at 2:24 am #10844howlunParticipantHi Support, We have deployed to localhost, and the issue doesn't exist. We currently using Bluehost Wordpress hosting. But, what could be the root cause? If it is incompatibility of the hosting environment, can you provide the requirements? Or can you tell us which hosting providers are compatible? Thank youNovember 27, 2015 at 11:18 am #10948Anshuman SahuKeymasterSo this is a hosting issue ,please contact them to check if they have some kind of settings for this weird issue . Check for mod security or .htaccess rules on the server .November 30, 2015 at 6:11 am #11302howlunParticipantHi Alex, we have found the root cause of the issue. It is due to the cache server, Varnish. We have stopped it, until we find a setting to overcome the issue. The issue is considered resolved for now. Thank you.
