Account activation link not working

Hi, I'm using WPLMS Modern theme and I'm facing issues related to Account activation link. I did receive the account activation link in my mail box as below:

Thanks for registering! To complete the activation of your account please click the following link:
 http://localhost/activate/190f9bb883fe533482cbc90909b17fe3/

But When I clicked on the link, it shows me just the blank page. I have mapped
the Activate page properly in the buddypress settings. It doesn't even show any input area to put the activation code. It shows simply a blank page after clicking the link. Is there any bug or issues 
related to activate page? How can a user activate his account in this situation? I would also like to mention that 
I've latest versions of wordpress, buddypress, Wplms modern theme and all 
the other plugins installed on my system. Please provide solution.
FYI, I'm currently testing my site at local server. I've attached the screenshot for your reference. Please help me!

Judging from your mail content ,it seems your buddypress is not getting the site url it is just getting the activate slug . Please check if you have put any site url in your settings -> general . Also check your buddypress page settings to check if you have selected a activate page there from settings -> buddypress -> pages .

Hi, In my settings -> general, the Site Address(URL) and WordPress Address (URL) both are mentioned as:  http://localhost Also, in settings -> buddypress -> pages, I had selected the activate page.  Please find screenshot for your reference. Please advise me what to do.

This process is handled by the buddypress itself and wplms does not have any interference in this module  . Please also try resaving the permalinks to postname and make sure that you have logged out from the site .
