February 12, 2016 at 9:06 pm #28053balajee2777ParticipantHi my site has stopped sending activation emails after upgrading. Please can someone have a look.February 12, 2016 at 9:08 pm #28057balajee2777Participantwebsite: www.pencilruler.com Username: balajee2777 Password: Balaji28! This is super urgent as i can't go live without it. Regards JayFebruary 13, 2016 at 8:51 am #28196Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease update your theme and all its plugins to the latest . Resave the permalinks after update and again check the issue . Check if you have set an activation email content and also please try installing the wp-mandrill plugin for this .February 16, 2016 at 8:07 am #28967isigmaSpectatorSame thing. There is no activation, or activation letter, neither reset password, registration letter/page redirect. In both cases user are being redirected to the homepage. - it is all happening on the network main site - pages are set up - everything 2.0.6 / modern - permalinks resaved - mandrill activatedFebruary 16, 2016 at 8:42 pm #29221isigmaSpectatora relevant question. At what point in modern child user registration the "Buddypress term and conditions" page should appear? Because it doesn't show up at all as well.February 17, 2016 at 1:48 pm #29484MrVibeKeymasterAssuming that you're not referring to the Modern theme ajax registration. The Modern theme ajax registration is very limited and was just used as an example for ajax registration which was possible in WordPress. Currently we do not have any plans for extending it because it is a very vast feature request altogether. However, you can disable ajax registration from WP Admin - WPLMS - Miscellaneous and users will be redirected to the "BuddyPress registration page" when they click on create an account. In this case the registration process is handled by BuddyPress. For Terms and conditions make sure you set the terms and conditions page in WP Admin - LMS - Settings section. Let me know if this does not answer your questions.February 17, 2016 at 5:39 pm #29617isigmaSpectatorPerfectly answered. Thank you. I like the simplicity of the AJAX form, but if it can't handle all the registration greetings and notifications, then I'll change the Budypress options.February 17, 2016 at 9:21 pm #29677isigmaSpectatorCan you also clarify how with which WPLMS settings the LMS Account Activation Email starts working? So far: - with AJAX on - there are no emails at all - with BP registration we have the (if a site network is in use) WP Welcome User EmailFebruary 18, 2016 at 8:13 am #29802Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell the activation emails are not sent with the ajax registration of the modern theme .Is just registers the user there forcefully in wordpress . While the activation email is sent on the buddypress registration page .This is a core part of buddypress . To disable the ajax registration please goto wp-admin -> wplms -> miscellaneous -> disable ajax registration : http://prntscr.com/a4ri34 This will disable the ajax registration and will put a link to the buddypress register page on the "create and account" button .
