After updating the theme to 2.9.1 , cart subtotal & proceed to checkout missing. To confirm I roll back my website and updated theme again and problem reappears See screenshot  https://prnt.sc/fpj4it   there no cart total and proceed to checkout missing while it should be like this https://prnt.sc/fpj6ip Please resolve this on very urgent basis. Thanks

Well its working fine at my test setup with modern child theme and also default child theme . It seems like that you might have modified woocommerce cart template . I would need the issue to be replicated on a dummy site to debug and check this issue . As a quick fix please try renaming the the cart template in your child theme . Also please share a site url of your dummy site along with admin credentials and a valid FTP credentials to check this issue . PS : mark reply as private while sharing .

Okay I checked your modern child theme and found a cart folder in your woocommerce folder. Now we do not modify the cart page template in modern theme so there is no cart page template in mdoern child theme . So I renamed the cart folder in your wp-content/themes/wplms_modern/woocommerce folder and it fixed the issue at your staging site . Please check and confirm .
