July 1, 2016 at 3:02 am #55870ctleumParticipantMy WPLMS site has been set up with the WPLMS demo content, and seems to be working fine. However, there is an issue with the all courses page. The Course Directory layouts are not applied to the page All Courses. See the attached video for reference. Please advise.July 1, 2016 at 11:18 am #55978Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you please tell which child theme you are using(if you are using any) and which layout is not appearing well in your setup ? Please also make sure that your wplms theme and all its plugins are updated to latest version . Please share your site url and admin credentials in a private reply to check the issue at your end .July 2, 2016 at 6:04 am #56115ctleumParticipantAll the components are up-to-date and running the latest version of the software. The theme used is WPLMS White, on both the top level site, and the sub-sites. Dear Alex, My course directory / all-courses page displays correctly only on the top level site, e.g. http://url.com/all-courses/ The issue is that the course directory / all-courses page does not display correctly on sub-sites, e.g. http://subsite.url.com/all-courses/. How to resolve this issue? Your technical advice is urgently needed. Sincerely, ChrisJuly 2, 2016 at 12:43 pm #56210MrVibeKeymasterOur multisite demo : http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/ Course directory : Main site : http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/all-courses/ Subsite 1 : http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/fr/all-courses/ Subsite 2: http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/es/all-courses/ To check the issue, we need more information like a screenshot of subsite all courses page.July 3, 2016 at 4:41 am #56271ctleumParticipantA screenshot of the page /all-courses/ on a subsite is attached. When I change the layout, to D2, D3, D4, etc., the page /all-courses/ the new layout is not applied to the current page. A solution is requested. Many thanks, ChrisJuly 4, 2016 at 7:26 am #56366Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell yep this is currently an issue that sometimes the layout changed is not shown live in the customizer page . But the layout is applied in the site if you save the customizer settings and close it . refer : http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDifiTiU9e adding the live preview issue in issue log .July 4, 2016 at 7:39 am #56371ctleumParticipantDear Alex, Could you please watch the video again, closely: all-courses-issue-1.mp4 The issue occurs on all my sub-sites. The layout for my course directory will not change at all. A solution is requested from you or your colleagues. Sincerely, ChrisJuly 4, 2016 at 8:15 am #56380ctleumParticipantDear Alex, Here is a video that is clearer, and provides more details of the issue. https://ctle.umac.mo/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2016/07/issue-with-WPLMS.mp4 We have been having issues with this important aspect, and your response is most appreciated. Please clarify if you are using a child theme, if yes then try deactivating it activate the default theme, this is only to check if the issue is coming due to customisation in the child theme. If the issue persists then please share the site url and the admin credentials in a private reply with us to check the issue on your site.July 4, 2016 at 2:13 pm #56442MrVibeKeymasterIn addition to above , I tried to replicate it on live : Sub site 1 : http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/fr/all-courses/ Sub site 2 : http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/ms/es/all-courses/ I suspect this could be a child theme issue, WPLMS White. When you're making all the changes in the Customiser, you can very well activate the blank child theme on the sub site to confirm theme. Also it is clear that you're not using any white child theme elements, so it could be a case of conflicting CSS.July 5, 2016 at 3:59 am #56490ctleumParticipantDoes this mean that when a main site has the WPLMS White theme applied, the sub-site cannot make use of the WPLMS White theme - because of some CSS issue? I need 8 different sites with the WPLMS White theme. Would you suggest I make 8 single sites?July 5, 2016 at 9:13 am #56574Anshuman SahuKeymasterI have checked by activating the wplms white theme but could not find any issue related to the layouts . please check : http://prntscr.com/bozs95 Please check if you are customizing anything in the course folder in your wplms white child theme ? Also please check if he wplms white theme is enabled in your subsite . Please also share your site url and admin credentials in a private reply to check the issue at your end .July 5, 2016 at 9:56 am #56581ctleumParticipantThank you for exploring this issue. The regulations do not allow me to enable guest access to the network, sorry. We will set up several single sites. Thank you,July 6, 2016 at 7:52 am #56760Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell please make sure that your domain remains same for these sites . If their domain is different then you have to purchase a new license of wplms theme for each domain .
