Appointments Plugin – changes not reflected on the student side

When I edit a schedule as a teacher, the changes are not reflected on the student side. If I try to see the changes with "Student view" everything works great, but when I really login with a Student role the changes are not seen from his perspective. Eg.

1. I add new schedule and it is not seen at all
2. I delete a schedule and instead of being removed it appears with 0 slots.

Just to be sure I am clear - the "Student view" functionality works great, but when I really login with an account with student role, I am not able to see the changes.
