May 3, 2016 at 1:13 pm #46187mattkennedySpectatorAssignments don't show dates and old assignments came back for some reason. We don't want to have to mark things again, and now with the new layout we can't tell which assignments are the oldest and need to be marked first.May 3, 2016 at 2:21 pm #46221mattkennedySpectatorWe're also seeing some assignments coming through with multiple submissions from the same person, with most being blank submissions.May 4, 2016 at 10:46 am #46401Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay please check if you have any comments in your trash form wp-admin -> comments -> trash . Please delete the comments in trash . Yep the new submissions do not shows the order as it fetches the assignment submissions . We will try to add this info in the upcoming updates in the submission . Please also note check if a user who is appearing many times in the assignments have more than one comment in assignments ? Please share the course url and admin credentials to check the issue further . PS : mark reply as private while sharing the credentials .May 5, 2016 at 4:53 pm #46697mattkennedySpectatorAll the items in the comments trash are student assignment submissions. But here is an admin login: username: theacademytoday password: epiphone1! Login portal: http://onlinephotoacademy.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.onlinephotoacademy.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 Also, we can't use akismet anymore for blocking spam comments on our blog because it was also considering some assignments spam, but now we are getting hundreds of spam comments a week and it looks really bad. We would love it if you could also give us a solution for blocking spam but allowing all assignment submissions, even if they contain URL's. Thanks!May 6, 2016 at 7:12 am #46752Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou have to delete the comments from trash also to prevent the assignments appearing again in submissions . The credentials that you have provided are not working . Please also share the url of the course in which the issue is appearing . akismet issue . We are using the comments template of the wordpress in assignment ,so this is limitation in wplms that it is bound to use the comments system and we also cannot prevent the akismet from marking a comment as spam . You can contact the akismet plugin support or on wordpress forums to disable akismet in assignments OR You can use a captcha by using third party plugin .That will help in reducing spam if akismet is not working properly .May 6, 2016 at 3:36 pm #46841mattkennedySpectatorLogin info: http://www.onlinephotoacademy.com mattkennedy epiphone1!May 6, 2016 at 3:40 pm #46842mattkennedySpectatorThank you for explaining the akismet issue. The comment above has login credentials - the assignment issue is happening for every course.May 7, 2016 at 9:46 am #46958Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou really need to clean up comments from your spam and trash . It maybe possible that someone would have spammed your assignments also . That is why the old assignments shows up in pending . Please clean the spam and delete the comments trash . Please also make sure that no assignment answer (comments) remains in pending .May 12, 2016 at 6:58 pm #47886mattkennedySpectatorOkay, spam comments are entirely cleaned up. Pending & trash comments are empty. Is there anything else we need to do to resolve this issue?May 13, 2016 at 11:06 am #47962Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis found to be an issue in wplms assignments . We will be fixing this in the next update of wplms .Thanks fro patience . For the time being please ask students to answer the assignment for only one time to avoid multiple submissions .May 13, 2016 at 3:29 pm #48005mattkennedySpectatorThank you for the update. We look forward to the fix! Have a good weekend.
