    Hi, My instructor set an assignment. In the preview, everything looks ok. Please see screenshot 1. But when student access the assignment, the part where the student can upload the assignment, is missing. Please see screenshot 2. Regards.

    Okay check  if the comments are enabled in that assignment from the back end assignment edit page .

    Please also check if you have set any duration in the assignment . If now then set a duration and goto course admin -> submissions -> assignment submissions and then reset the assignment for that user . The problem maybe you have not set any duration for the assignment,when user started the assignment it got expired for her .

    Hi Alex, Ok, i understand. I just want to confirm my understanding: 1) Assignments must have a duration. If not, when students enter the assignment, it will be shown as expired. 2) Duration is set under "Assignment Maximum Time Limit (Days)". Please see screenshot. Regards.

    Just to add on one more thing. I tried to make the assignment duration "unlimited" by input '9999' in duration. When student goes into the course and about to start the assignment, he will see the screenshot as attached. It says Unlimited WPLMS Assignments for the duration. Is this suppose to be this way? Regards.

    Yes this is an issue in wplms as of now  and will be fixed in the update of wplms assignment plugin .
