November 19, 2015 at 12:41 pm #9537peppiesSpectatorI thought I had emails working fine - and so far all emails are coming in as properly formatted HTML using WPLMS template. However, when tutors receive an Assignment submitted notification, it's still unformatted text-only email without any line breaks.November 20, 2015 at 11:54 am #9752Anshuman SahuKeymasterTry installing and activating the wp-mandrill plugin and check the issue again . Also try changing the charset settings of mail from wp-admin -> Lms -> settings -> emails .November 20, 2015 at 1:09 pm #9774peppiesSpectatorI had the wp mandrill installed but the problem with it is it fixes plain text emails by adding line breaks but HTML emails end up with double line breaks because mandrill ads them even if they're already there. This breaks the HTML template layout. So it doesn't work well with the system where you get plain text +HTML emails. The question is why my assignment notification emails don't use the WPLMS HTML template? Are these supposed to be plain text? Everything else is using the template but not these notifications.November 21, 2015 at 7:08 am #9905Anshuman SahuKeymasterHave you modified the email template correct? or you have You added any custom function to disable the email templates . Or check if the wplms email template is enabled . http://prntscr.com/9562gcNovember 21, 2015 at 7:10 am #9906Anshuman SahuKeymasterAnd the double message in email is and issue in wplms as of now and willl be fixed in the next update of vibe course module plugin .November 21, 2015 at 3:27 pm #10002peppiesSpectatorYes of course I have the WPLMS HTML template enabled - all other emails are coming in properly formatted. No custom function added that disables HTML. Can you try submitting assignment and see the email that tutor receives is HTML or not? This is so far the only email that isn't working, everything else including password reset, private messaging, student notifications are fine.November 23, 2015 at 1:21 pm #10202Anshuman SahuKeymasterThe emails maybe appearing due to that error in the vibe course module plugin for the assignments . Can you please provide us the admin credentials and site url to fix the issue and check the emails . PS: mark reply as private while sharing credentials .November 23, 2015 at 1:44 pm #10209peppiesSpectatorHi, here are the details, but please be very careful, this is a live site. url: https://www.proudphotography.com username: vibethemes password: 33LB(@Qo7Ewj!QnpNRx)lKcgNovember 24, 2015 at 11:26 am #10378Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe have done the fix can you please check the mails for assignment ? If they are still coming in plain text then this may be the issue with the third party plugins .November 28, 2015 at 7:49 am #11102peppiesSpectatorNotification emails are still coming in as plain text with no linebreaks. However, I discovered that ONLY standard Wordpress comments notification emails aren't using the WPLMS template. Are you sure that comment notifications are set up correctly to use the email template? Everything else works 100%.November 28, 2015 at 12:31 pm #11176Anshuman SahuKeymasterHave you saved the email template again and also try deactivating the other third party email plugin . /January 19, 2016 at 4:11 pm #19260247webmasterSpectatorHaving exact same problem when sending bulk messages to students in a course. Uses the template but the body of the mail is all concatenated without any line breaks. Seems to be non HTML?? but not?? All other mails use the template perfectly with proper spacing, etc. Any solution yet?January 20, 2016 at 7:26 am #19364MrVibeKeymasterYes, this has been resolved. Make sure the Charset is set to ISO :January 20, 2016 at 8:43 am #19414247webmasterSpectatorBulk Message sending I tried your ISO setting. Still the exactly same - see image attached. I fail to see what ISO or UTF-8 has to do with the line-spacing and paragraphing inside an email? See image attached - there should be distinct paragraphs i.e. space between them i.e. blank lines. Inside the MESSAGE section is the problem - stripping any form of line breaks. Everything else around the message shortcode is fine. BTW changing to the ISO setting - does not change the template setting of UTF-8 ! Took out the utf-8 setting inside the template and left blank - it made NO difference whatsoever. Hardcoded meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" / into the template. But when receiving email it is still UTF-8. Even tried using html inside Message part (LOL!) but no difference. This is a priority for my client. Please provide a solution asap!January 21, 2016 at 11:09 am #19660Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you please share the original message so that we can try replicating this .
