Assignment Submission Error

Submitting an assignment via document upload requires text to be input into the comments field else it redirects to an error page. As I undertstand it this we can fix in two ways 1 - remove the comments section 2 - pre populate the comments field. I would like to now how we do this please?   I attach two screen shots.

This issue has been resolved in the latest update of wplms 2.2 So please update all your plugins and the wplms theme to the latest versions i.e. 2.2 and then check.
