September 20, 2016 at 12:10 pm #71178BrianOJeeSpectatorHello! I'd like to set an achievement in BadgeOS that states that to receive the achievement, the student must pass a quiz by a certain percentage. Is this possible? I see the option "Marks in quiz greater than(+30) or less than (-30) or range (30-70)". What does this mean? Can I set it so that the student must pass the quiz by, say, 90%? Thanks for your help!September 21, 2016 at 1:16 pm #71395H.K. LatiyanParticipantYou can set the quiz passing marks, refer: http://prntscr.com/ckmie7 and set the achivement so that the badge will be assigned on quiz passing.November 6, 2016 at 2:53 pm #78336nena14SpectatorAbout BadgeOS: All of my quizzes contains of 10 questions. Each correct answer gives 1 point. If I wan't the badge go to students who got 5, 6 and 7 points in the quiz, what shall I write? The procentage 50-70 or 40-80? Or the points 5-7 or 4-8? Another badge shall go to students who got 8, 9 or 10 points, what shall I write? +70 or +80 (percentage)? Or the points +7 or +8?November 8, 2016 at 1:06 pm #78645Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell setting a badge allocation when user scores marks within a specific range is not available as of now in wplms but there is an options when user scores specific marks (score equals to ) . You can set to allocate same badge if user scores specific scores from (4-8) . refer : http://prntscr.com/d4m68nNovember 9, 2016 at 2:21 pm #78848nena14SpectatorIt used to be possible earlier? This is how it looks in a badge in BadgeOS when choosing the "step" option: Where is your screenshot taken? I can't find anything wich looks like that.November 11, 2016 at 12:08 pm #79248Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantHere is some explanation: I hope it helps you in solving your issue. http://prntscr.com/d5wvbu Marks in Course greater than (+30) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks greater than 30, then you will write '+30' here. Less than (-30) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks less than 30, then you will write '-30' here Range (30-70) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks between 30-70, then you have to write "30-70" here.November 11, 2016 at 1:02 pm #79281nena14SpectatorTo make this absolutely clear so I don't need to redo everything later. I assuming that you are talking about percentages. 1. "Less than (-30) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks less than 30, then you will write '-30' here." This means that if a student gets exactly 30% of the points correct, then the student will NOT get the badge? 2."Range (30-70) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks between 30-70, then you have to write "30-70" here." So this means that a student who gets exactly 30% correct do NOT get the badge, but a student who gets 30,5% gets the badge? The student needs to get MORE than 30% and LESS than 70% to get the badge?November 12, 2016 at 5:56 am #79351Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantI am talking about marks not percentages. But we will add this feature in the future update. Track this link : https://trello.com/c/YhR3PFMrNovember 12, 2016 at 3:34 pm #79489nena14SpectatorOkay, marks, not percentage, but what about the limits? Ignore the %sign in my question.November 14, 2016 at 12:56 pm #79667Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantRange (30-70) : It means if you want to allot the badge to the student if he score marks between 30-70, then you have to write "30-70" here. The maximum marks that you have alloted to a quiz is the limit. for example: if a quiz has maximum marks 50 then if you want to provide a badge to students who get marks between 45-50 then you can write "45-50 there"November 14, 2016 at 3:17 pm #79727nena14SpectatorI understand that, but is still wondering about the limits. You write "between 30-70". In that case: What will happen for a student who gets exactly 30 points? Will that student get the badge or not?November 15, 2016 at 7:57 am #79823Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantLower limit is included. Upper limit is not included. Here 70-100 70 is included, 100 is not.November 23, 2016 at 2:16 pm #81659nena14SpectatorIs this true also for +30? Is 30 points getting the badge?November 23, 2016 at 2:21 pm #81662Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]Participantyes 30 is included.November 24, 2016 at 9:42 am #81750nena14Spectator5-8 means badge for 5, 6 or 7 points. +8 means badge for 8,9 or 10 points (max point is 10) Did I understand you correct? And this is you are really sure about? Sorry for asking again, but I do not want to find out that it is wrong and needing to redo everything in all of my badges again.
