January 2, 2017 at 1:50 pm #87808birdybirdbirdParticipantEvery time I run a course with Batches, it barely works. I had a course start today and within a matter of hours the following issues have already come up:
- Students able to request access to other Batches, even though all mention of Batches should be hidden. The only interaction students should have with Batches is to select a start date. I have no idea how they are finding the other Batches to request to join.
Students randomly not being able to access course. They click start or continue course only to be told the course is not available. Other students are able to access the course without a problem. Resetting doesn't work. Have to remove and re-add to both course and Batch.
Group page in Dashboard not saving.
Drip feed in Batches not working so students have already seen all the course material for a 7 day course.
Forum randomly reverting to different forum. Can't put it back to the real forum because of above issue.
This plugin should not have been released in this state. Very disappointing, as WPLMS has been excellent up to this point.

Subscriptions seem to run from the date a student book on to the course rather than the date the course starts, so at the beginning of every single course I have to go through all the students and amend their subscription lengths.January 3, 2017 at 12:16 pm #87953H.K. LatiyanParticipantThank you for contacting us, unfortunately none of the issues you've mentioned can be termed as "bugs". all the issues you've described above are connected to settings. I think it is very important to understand how batches works. Batches have unlimited possibility of usage and conflicting settings can cause massive confusion which seems to be the case here. 1. Students able to request access : If you notice there is a setting which control this. Every batch has a setting in manage section. 2. There is nothing random here. It seems you've missed the most important part in the batch settings. If you want students to be able to access the course outside batch timings and holidays. Please disable the batch timing to allow students to access the course always. 3) Unable to replicate the issue on my test setup, the group/batch page saves properly, you might be getting some error on the page. 4) The drip feed works according to course, it works fine on our test setup, please share the exact steps to replicate the issue. 5) Forum cannot revert randomly, if you have connected the forum in the group then you can go to that forum only by clicking on the forum link in the group. 6) Yes the time starts recording once the user has purchased the subscription, which plugin are you using for subscription ? -
