Blog issue in Modern theme

Hi,   I want to use the previous blog format instead of the new one. As I could change anything I deleted the blog.php in Modern theme and got the previous blog structure working as I wanted, the issue is now I don't have the hero image on top of the page as in the other pages of the theme. How can I have this page behaving the same way as others? Thank you, Nelson

Since you're merging different designs. You'll need to add custom CSS to fix this.   Add this Custom CSS in Customiser - Custom CSS :

header+#title{margin-top:150px;}
