    The text I edit in the frontend editor does not match the text displayed to the students in the course. I'm testing with a new account that doesn't have this page cached.

    hi in your case WordPress function get_post_meta is not working correctly this can be a third party conflict as we have checked this on your as well as on local, checked every detail but still, the changes made on your site is not reflecting so request you to deactivate all third-party plugin with cache
