At the moment I am wondering if you really understand how WPLMS works in terms of offline courses.
If you say you do not understand how I am relating progress and duration of the course. Well, now I explain WHY:
BECAUSE I have activated the function that calculates the progress based on the total duration of the course. Look at the image with attention please:

Ok we checked this and assigned myself into one of your courses to check the issue .
But in our case it showed the progress to be right according to the duration which is set which is 5 years :

the progress is calculated according to the time user was added to the course with respect to the course duration .
Could you please share the link of the course as well as the user credentials who is facing this progress issue ?

Okay there seems to be an issue with the bulk actions (when instructor adds student ) to the course and the course auto progress .
We did not handle this action , we only handled it when user is added naturally by purchasing course .

Ok, just be aware that at the beggining of this thread, in order to solve the "unlimited access" issue, you gave me a code to add in the wplms-customizer file. Maybe that code is causing the "progress counter" issue.
And also, I just want you to remenber that we have another issue without solving: I mean the duration time issue when you use the 1 value.

Yes we are totally aware of that , the issue has been fixed and same will be available in the next update of vibe course module plugin .
