Hello,
I have been using the localization translation tool successfully for most of my edits however I also want to be able to change the menu titles in the sidebar for a logged in user.
Namely I want to change:
"Courses" to "Themes"
"Dashboard" to "My Progress"
I successfully changed "My Orders" to My Details" - this was within the "Manage Language Files" - "Themes" - "WPLMS" - "English" section.
Obviously the other two settings are referenced somewhere else, "Vibe Course Module"? perhaps.
Please let me know.
Kind regards,
Miles
The string "Dashboard" comes from the wplms dashboard plugin and "courses" comes from the vibe course module plugin.
So you can translate them from there.
Hi Latiyan
That is great thank you.
I have another small edit the word "BASE" as it appears in the user Profile section. Is there a way to change that?
Also when I click on a user either as an instructor or a student it errors out. What is the page/view it is to show and is there any way to fix this?
Or remove the link from the Students names?
Thank you for all your help.
Miles.
1) Base comes from the buddypress, so you have to translate the buddypress plugin for this.
2) When you click on the user name then you must be redirected to that user's profile page.
If not then please check the buddypress components, go to wp-admin->settings->buddypress->components, all the components should be enabled there.
Thank you for the reply,
1. Unfortunately buddypress doesn't have any translation files and I don't wish to add any.
2. The members "click on name" only works if users can see all other members on the site and I don't want this, so I'll have to redirect them to an error page or the front page.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Cheers,
Miles.
1. Please download the buddypress translation from here :
https://codex.buddypress.org/translations/
2. Well removing the link would not available as of now .
this is coming from buddypress .
so please contact buddypress support or forums for that .
