Course filter not working on widget

Hi, My course search widget is filtering the wrong results. For example, if I search for English courses, it will return courses that are not in that category. Any ideas what I should do to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Can you please try after clearing your browser cache ,sometimes a corrupted value set in the cookie for all courses page in the browser .

This might be a stupid question, but should I have entered something into the Attributes/Parent/Order section of the course edit page?
