Course unit lock not working

Hi, I have set a unit lock on a course but when completing any of the quizzes on the front end I can continue to the next unit without waiting for evaluation, I'd like to have it that only once the quiz evaluation has been done by the instructor and it's a pass can the student proceed to the next unit.
