Div instead of page tags

Is there a way to use Div instead of page tags as default. I installed the demo code and would like this to also use div's instead of page tags. My understanding is div's are better for SEO and better code practice.

Please clarify your point .We use the html5 tags like sections ,header,nav etc . Do you want them to be div instead of these tags ?
