But Daffrider's question still remains: does the wplm template in lms -> settings->emails menu sections still work, or is it deprecated/preemted by new buddy press version ?
If so, this is not a "feature request", but a bug collateral from buddypress last updates :).
Please advise?
Hello

Advanced WordPress Email delivery for buddypress html email notification this plugin overide WPLMS notification correctly and work with Buddypress 2.5

The WPLMS Email Template include mores options for customize email :)
Hi,
May i ask, after the next update, does it means the original WPLMS emails can be used again? Or does it mean everything now is by default to BuddyPress emails?
Regards.
In next update there will be an option to import all wplms touchpoints emails in buddypress emails menu and then the wplms email template will be disabled and buddypress template will take over the wplms email template .
@Daffrider, @ulyssesw : I have been working from past 2 days on this and even in brand new setup with Twenty fourteen theme BuddyPress sends text emails. I think this is a buddypress issue . Trying to get BuddyPress emails has been more than frustrating , leave alone the fixing part.
We were planning to add a switch to migrate all the WPLMS Emails to BuddyPress but since BuddyPress emails are just not working in any of our test setups, we've dropped this migration for now. We've added the code to disable BuddyPress emails (provided by buddypress) but it is not working in our setups.
So, emails issues will not be resolved in the update.
We'll be waiting for BuddyPress updates to fix the email feature till then WPLMS will use its own mail feature.
