Dear Support,
"The course duration will be calculated from the time the user clicks on start course button". This has been enabled, but it is not working for all courses.
Once the user is being assigned a course by the admin, the time of access starts counting down, even the user did not start the course yet.
Please help on this.

Well this is not a duration bug , the actual time is counted in seconds .
Its just the time which we are displaying there is being rounding off to day .
If you set the "duration parameter" from wp-admin -> wplms-> course manager to automatic , you will find there 59 days 23 hours .

Yes it will decrease but the reduced time will only be added when user hits the start course button .
On the start course action we calculate the time user has passed from subscribing the course and add it to his course expiry time .
Please check if duration increases when user starts the course ?

Can you please share valid ftp credentials in private reply to fix this at your end ?
Old ftps are not working .
ACtually we found the reason why this is happening .
The "subscribe_course" activity of the student is not there in database .
how did you added those students ?
by uploading csv in bulk?

The feature calculate duration from start course depends solely on activities , if there is no activity then the feature wont work .

I would assume the "subscribe_course" will only appear if the user go through the normal process of purchasing the course directly from the portal.
How about those manually assigned if required? Please advise how should it be done correctly?
No it also appear when admin adds user from course admin , we have fixed this in last update .

Question now raises where did the activity go?
without activity we cannot detect when the user was added to course and how any seconds we have to compensate since he was added to course .
