June 17, 2020 at 3:30 am #268703Kaedar1ParticipantHello, Students are signing up for a free course. The course is automatically expired for them and they can't access it. Even when click to renew, it will not renew. I have the days set to 9999. I am have to go in through admin and bulk extend everyone. My understanding is when the duration is set to 9999 days they should automatically have access after subscription. How do I give them the ability to sign up and take the free course without me having to bulk extend, I would like this set automatically at sign up?June 17, 2020 at 11:15 am #268839JacksonBlockedHello, Make sure everything should be updated to the latest version, Deactivate all third party plugins as well, If not working share admin credentials in private reply, Thanks,June 17, 2020 at 7:51 pm #268961InnercooledSpectatorI have a similar issue. I stated in the first post the issue is with the free courses. I have to manually bulk extend as each person signs up.June 30, 2020 at 1:56 pm #271883JacksonBlockedHello, The problem found that For existing students you can extend their subscription period from the course admin option, refer: http://prntscr.com/9xkyfk Now you can see user WPLMS is able to start course after extend subscription from admin area: https://prnt.sc/t96hqn So now problem is solved, You understand what we have to do for existing student but new student have no problem Thanks,July 9, 2020 at 11:15 pm #273812Kaedar1ParticipantOk, I figured out the issue. I did set the course for an unlimited subscription. I went to "edit course," chose "days" for "set course duration parameter." I saw the 9999 already in the "maximum course duration" box. I assumed that it was set since the numbers were already showing in the box. But it was what I will call a ghost image. I never actually typed the numbers in the box myself. Once I actually typed the numbers in the "maximum course duration" box the problem was solved. Students are now automatically extended.July 10, 2020 at 11:21 am #273941VeronicaModeratoryes exactly that's great you have find it. so as it is solved now closing this topic -
