February 23, 2016 at 6:05 pm #31399alainmayrandParticipantI like the free lesson, which can act as a great preview - and I would like it to be for logged-in students only. Thank you. AlainMay 10, 2016 at 2:31 pm #47459webliv_envatoSpectatorNeed it tooJune 7, 2016 at 4:58 am #51994rodrigoramoSpectatorit's nice!!June 27, 2016 at 6:50 am #55238MrVibeKeymasterThanks for this request. Adding to the planned features list. Track request : https://trello.com/c/gtPJmugdOctober 19, 2016 at 3:28 pm #75413GustavoParticipantHi Mr Vibe and team, How would be possible to start part of a course for free (i.e. offer few units for free upon registration) and charge the student if he/she wants to continue with the other units? In that case we would need to change the button from Take This Course to Start For Free. WPLMS users will be able to collect automatically emails for marketing purposes using Mailchimp, Sendinblue, Sendy and others services. The goal is to offer initially some units for free and, if the student clicks on the following locked units, a pop-up banner appears saying something like: "Only £ to access the full Course". Within the pop-up banner it should also include a button saying 'Take The Full Course' Would be possible to collect automatically emails via Mailchimp, Sendinblue, Sendy and others services to a specific email list? Also below the Start For Free button it should say *When you register you will receive free content and special promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time. How would be possible to achieve that? Good vibes!October 24, 2016 at 5:30 pm #76366MrVibeKeymasterYes this is possible. Make the course as free and inside the units use the shortcode sell_content, refer tutorial : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/sell-unit-content-shortcode/October 24, 2016 at 5:42 pm #76367GustavoParticipantHi Mr Vibe, Thanks for your prompt reply. 1. And how can we change the button from Take This Course to Start For Free? 2 . And if the student clicks on the locked units, will a pop-up banner appears saying something like: "Only £ to access the full Course"? 2.1 Will within the pop-up banner have a button saying 'Take The Full Course'? 3. Would be possible to collect automatically emails via Mailchimp, Sendinblue, Sendy and others services to put into a specific email list for this specific course? Also below the Start For Free button it should say *When you register you will receive free content and special promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time. Thank you for your help so far!October 25, 2016 at 2:52 pm #76564GustavoParticipantPlease also check above the questions 1 to 3. 4. Using the WPLMS Mailchimp plugin how can we oblige (force) people to subscribe to one specific free course list and not for the other courses? (as we need to collect emails in exchange for the free specific course) 5. Using the WPLMS Mailchimp plugin when it does sync, will it add all students from a course or just those who previously opted to subscribe? 6. Also using the WPLMS Mailchimp plugin how can we pre check the box to subscribe? I hope you can help as soon as possibleOctober 25, 2016 at 3:29 pm #76574MrVibeKeymaster1. Use translation plugins for relabeling text used in the theme. Try installing loco translate plugin for this, after the translation you can also deactivate the plugin. 2. If the unit is marked as "Free" (and we hide the free label), the content inside is insude the [sell_Content] shortcode, the popup will display a message to purchase the unit. 3. This is available in WPLMS Mailchimp plugin. 4. Enable the trigger : WP Admin - LMS - Settings - auto subscribe users to free courses on registration 5. There are multiple options : a. Create a global list of all the student in the courses, each course is added as a group in the list. b. Create individual lists of each of the courses with sub-groups as course status. 6. No need for the box, if you activate the auto-sync feature it will automatically sync all the users every day in mailchimp lists.October 25, 2016 at 4:51 pm #76585GustavoParticipantThank you for kindly reply us! 1. Thanks! And when you update WPLMS will we need to relabel the text of the button again? 2. Thanks. Can the pop up be customised saying something like: "Only £ to access the full Course"? Including having a button 'Take The Full Course" instead "purchase the unit"? 3. Thanks. Can we have below the "Start For Free" button the text *When you enrol to this free course you will receive free content and special promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time. 4. Many thanks! 5. We need the WPLMS Mailchimp plugin to give the option to unselect the box "subscribe to our newsletter" if the user doesn't want to subscribe. And when the plugin syncs with mailchip server, we don't want to add those who already opted to don't subscribe. Is that possible? 6. We really need the box "subscribe to our newsletter" in the Buddypress registration page (and other pages) to be pre-checked. Is that possible? Good vibes!October 25, 2016 at 11:49 pm #76605GustavoParticipantPlease check above the questions 1 to 6 :) We just purchased your plug in WPLMS Mailchimp. We are having the following issues: 4. When we check the "Assign Free courses to students on account activation" in LMS > Settings, how can we choose a specific list for each specific free course? Lets say register to Free Course A and subscribe to the Course List A, register to Free Course B and subscribe to the Course List B and so on? 7. We need to create a regular landing page, place your widget there and select a specific list from a course (just for that landing page). But how can we place the widget WPLMS Mailchimp there? 8. We manage to import the course list to Mailchimp, but it din't import the users from the course. We keep clicking on the Sync button, but it won't import the users. Do you know what is wrong? Good vibes!October 28, 2016 at 7:02 am #77003MrVibeKeymasterIt would be great if you can post the topics in appropriate sections for faster responses. This is a feature requests section which is resolved. :) Answers to your queries : 1. No, make sure you copy the translated files (vibe-xx_XX.po/mo) in wp-content/langauges/themes folder for the the theme and wp-content/langauges/themes 2. Currently the content says : "You do not have access to this content. Purchase content for $PRICE" 3. Use translation files for this (Vibe course module). For small text, add <span>*When you enrol to this free course you will receive free content and special promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.</span> in the translated text. 4. Go to WP Admin - LMS - Settings - Mailchimp, and click on "Sync all lists", check video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcoYAUOAwVo at 10:41 7. Multiple ways to achieve this. Create a new sidebar in WP Admin - WPLMS -sidebar manager. ADd the mailchimp widget in the sidebar. Use page builder for the page and use the sidebar in content. You can also copy the generated shortcode and use it anywhere in the side. 8. We're using the Mailchimp bulk api. The changes do not reflect immediately, sometimes it takes upto 10-15 minutes to reflect the changes. The best way is to enable auto-sync everyday and the sync will happens automatically.
