January 31, 2017 at 5:06 am #92786PrivateerParticipantHello, I create an Instructor account. When I want to create a Course, I can't find a "Create A Course" button on upper right hand corner of Instructor page. http://imgur.com/a/I7xKZ First image is my Instructor Dashboar. Second image is video sceenshot from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YShdb-tfNuc I did follow the settings from here: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/i-cant-edit-course-in-the-front-end-editor/ wp-admin->wplms->course manager->edit course page. re-save the permalinks from wp-admin->settings->permalinks. I have all the latest version of theme and plugins. Please help. ThanksJanuary 31, 2017 at 2:26 pm #92937Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay please note here that the "Create a course" button does not shows up in directory layout 5 . So if you are using directly layout 5 please switch ti to default from wp-admin->appeearance -> customize -> layouts and check this again . You can also enable "Create a course" link from wp-admin-> lms -> settings -> "Enable Create course button in instructor profile menu" .January 31, 2017 at 3:32 pm #92959PrivateerParticipantI didn't touch the Layout, still using the default settings. Directory Layout still default, so I assume it's D1, not D5. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0a768fajb4 And already enabled Create Course Button http://awesomescreenshot.com/05268fav2bFebruary 1, 2017 at 8:34 am #93032Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease share your site url and admin credentials to check this issue at your end . Ideally, I'd prefer the Create Course button displayed on Profile page. Everytime Instructor login, he can see the button immediately, without going through Course Directory (or Menu). Do you think it's possible to be implemented? Also, on that Profile page, another button to add product (eBook) on WooCommerce is very useful. So we can disable WP dashboard access for Instructor and get rid of User Role Editor plugin. (I have 30 plugins already). 2 buttons (Create Course and Add Product) are a perfect configuration on Profile Page :) Hope it can be implemented. Thank you for your supportFebruary 3, 2017 at 8:47 am #93498Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay how about adding the create course link in the logged in menu of instructor : http://prntscr.com/e3wj5p Add product link : again even if we add the link to profile then instructor wont be able to access to the backend due to your settings for admin area access . Also there is no such feature available to create products from front end as of now .So please try above instructions .February 3, 2017 at 3:19 pm #93630PrivateerParticipantYES please, thank you ---> Okay how about adding the create course link in the logged in menu of instructor : http://prntscr.com/e3wj5p Yes, I'm using User Role Editor plugin as of now. Still hoping to have feature of adding product via front end though :)February 4, 2017 at 12:18 pm #93729Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay please try adding the given code in your wplms-customizer.php file in wplms customizer plugin : https://gist.github.com/alexvibealex/67cc3d97c5b5c7cfd1b8ab412604c637 dont forget to change the url to your site .February 7, 2017 at 7:24 am #94205PrivateerParticipantThe code is working great. I'll report any issue, if any, on a new thread. Thank you Alex and great team.
