Gaps between Dashboard Widgets

The more my test the dashboard aspect to the LMS the more it feels like its design and implementation has been an afterthought. We don't mind afterthoughts but when they are prominent to users we care. Dashboards are prominent to users. Please look at - https://balance-global.com/dashboard-gap/ You will see on all our dashboards that very large gaps appear between widgets what can we do to reduce these gaps. I cannot find any CSS which makes the difference. Looks very poor layout and is common to all member types.
