Help about Management of courses

Hello , I have some questions about the management of courses:

• Can you stop the progress of a course in one unit and for a specific student, until the teacher authorized? for example: student "A" completes the unit 1 and 2 but until the teacher don't mark unit 2, the stundent "A" don't be able do the unit 3.
• Can the teacher advance the progress of a student? for example: student "A", start the course for unit 3 (unit 1 and 2 are complet)

1. You can add a assignment to that unit for the and enable the assignment lock from wplms -> course manager .In this way students wont be able to continue to next unit until the assignment is finished and evaluated by the instructor   . But the limitation is it will apply for all the students in course. You have to evaluate the assignment submitted for all students for those students you want they can pursue course further and this is only way you can stop the student in course . Alos you cna remove that student form the course and later you can add her .Her course progress will not be lost on removing her from course  . 2. No teacher can only change the status of the student and evaluate the course for student from course admin
