Can you tell me how I go about posing questions in each lesson such that students can view each others' answers and discuss together? If this is considered a forum, can I keep it so that each lesson has its own forum consisting of questions (and responses) but is separate and distinct from other lessons and courses? Thank you for your guidance. :)

Yes you can connect different forums for different units/lessons. When you edit a unit, under settings there comes an option to connect the unit forum. There you can connect the different forums for each unit.

Good! I have two questions: 1) We need to make each course and group have it's own forum, as opposed to it being open to ALL students of that course.  This is because the same course has a class for different age groups, and we don't want children mixing with adults on the forums, of course). How to set this up? 2) How to put a link on the lesson (unit) page for students to directly link to the forum discussion for that lesson? Thank you for your help :)

    1. You can attach groups that are private to your courses . Note that when students takes the course and course is attached to the group then students will automatically added to that group . Also private groups are only accessible to its members .so other students wont have any access . 2. Note that units can also have their forum .Just connect the forum in unit settings . To show course forum link please refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/show-the-course-forum-at-the-end-of-each-unit/
