My website loading speed is extremely slow. According to the GTMetrix evaluation, the main issues are related to: optimizing images; minify javascript; minify css; minify html; specify image dimensions.
1). Do you recommend any wordpress plugins or any other ways to optimize the overall website loading time? Is there any risk of downloading plugins that could interfere and/or have a negative impact on WPLMS functionalities?
2) Regarding image optimization, do you recommend or have you tested the Smush. It plugin with wordpress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/)?
3) Do recommend any plugins to <span style="line-height: 1.5;">minify javascript; minify css; minify html; specify image dimensions?</span>
Thanks!
Wplms is a buddypress theme. We do not recommend any caching plugins as the buddypress itself does not supports any caching plugins.
2. You can use the image optimizations plugins .
3. Please do not use any kind of css and js minifications plugins with wplms .
It will cause errors .
I would also like you to inform you that in wplms version 2.0 we have planned some major changes and the speed optimization is included in it .
Also we would add the css and js already minified in that version .
