How to translate profile fields and content into another language (WPML)

I would like to translate the profile fields from English to German including their content for each instructor. Goal to have an English instructor page and a German instructor page with the linked texts in the specific language. How can I do that because Buddypress Multilingual doesn't offer this, right? Next problem are the special fields for instructors like the "Instructor Field Group". There I have to fill the form field (WPLMS => Buddypress) with one value which doesn't change if I switch the language (in the backend). Means in both languages the specific field will be pulled and not the English and the German version. How can I handle this?

Concerning answer two. This is pretty bad because how else can I translate this field because our website is multilingual and the translations should work everywhere. For example if the instructor field group is used to show the bio I must have a possibility to have the bio in German and English. Otherwise support of WPML, as you mention for your theme, doesn't make sense if not everything will be translated. Any other workaround for that? Should be a feature request then if it is not possible. I am surprised that this hasn't been a frequently asked question for other who use multilingual pages.

ok, updating on above. by default WPML does not support this, only the strings can be translated, however, if you're using WPML then you also need to install BuddyPress multilingual. Refer WPML document on this. https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/buddypress-multilingual/

Well we have supported the wpml plugin evernywhere we can in our code . The issue is that profile fields module is of buddypress and I guess wpml provides support to translate these also refer : https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/buddypress-multilingual/#translating-profile-fields
