Following are the steps to reproduce the issue. I have created assignments with text area option. I have comments enabled . I have activity also enabled in buddy press. Now, When I submit answer to the assignment in the given text area and click Answer Assignment button. I get 500 Server error. Then I press the back button of the browser but the assignment is submitted. Also, If I update the answer and submit again, the same problem (500 server error) happens but the updated answer is also submitted. On pressing back button on the browser to go back to assignment, I see the first answer still showing in the answer text area. I just checked the assigment submissions and assignment results also and found them to be working just fine . Please make sure that your wplms theme and all its plugins are updated to latest version .Clear cache and re-save permalinks after update . If already updated and still facing the issue then please share your site url and admin credentials to check the issue at your end .
