Instructor Created Products

Hi, We are trying to figure out how instructors can create products them selves.  We see that an admin can create products but we need to create the ability for instructors to create and post products by them selves. Thanks for your help!

When instructor creates a course from front end, then in pricing option he can create a new product to connect to his course, refer: http://prntscr.com/9qblop

Unfortunately, we do not have the same options.  We are running wplms 1.9.9.1 and course module 1.9.9.3.  Please see the pic.

This is because you are using old front end edit which is no longer maintained by us. Please update to new front end edit. Refer: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-front-end-update/

Actually, we are not.  We have a brand new install of wplms 1.9.9.1. on the latest release of wordpress.  We are running the vibe course module 1.9.9.3 and wplms front end module 1.9.9.7.  According to your site and according to the wp updates page these are all latest updates of the theme and plugins respectively. The problem remains the same as videos are not helpful to resolve this issue of why our site with all latest plugins and theme is running an old version of wplms front end. Please advise to resolve the issue promptly. Thanks for your help in advance!

Please follow the following steps carefully  : Goto wp-admin -> all pages . find edit course page and edit it . Put the shortcode " [edit_course] " . Change the page template to " default template " .(you will find the page template option on the right side) Update the edit course page  . This is shown in the video already in this tip :  https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-front-end-update/ If still you facing issues then please share admin credentials and site url to check this at your end . PS: mark reply as private while sharing the credentials .

Thank you for the answer.  The solution worked. However, I still have a question that relates to my original inquiry. How can instructors create and publish products that are not associated with a course? Meaning, instructors may have products that they want to offer as stand alone products and sell them that way. Thanks for your help again!

NO instructors cannot create products in wplms as of now  .

Would you recommend using WC Vendors plugin?

You can try installing the capability manager plugin .
