Sorry this is not available in wplms, you can directly message them .July 21, 2017 at 7:31 pm #121862vizhuSpectatorCould that be a feature request?July 21, 2017 at 7:32 pm #121863vizhuSpectatorOr maybe there're plugins that may solve it?July 21, 2017 at 7:53 pm #121864vizhuSpectatorAlso :) how can I add comments feature inside course?July 22, 2017 at 8:22 am #121905H.K. LatiyanParticipantHI.. You can create a feature request in our feature request forum for this. ------------- Yes the comments can be added inside the course, you need to make sure that the notes and discussion page is set in the wplms->course manager->notes and discussion page. If its not set then first create a notes and discussion page with template set to notes and discussion. Now connect it in the course manager. Then by default the per paragraph style is enabled, so go to wplms->course manager->notes and discussion style, and change it to per unit. Now you can comment on each unit inside the course.July 22, 2017 at 8:23 am #121906H.K. LatiyanParticipantIf interested in per paragraph comments, then refer this tutorial: https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/notes-discussions-in-wplms/July 22, 2017 at 4:25 pm #121966vizhuSpectatorH.K.Latiyan thank you very much! It works! But there's an issue in correct displaying notes and in adding them: Notes window closes, when I try to add a note: 1. At first http://prntscr.com/fyxhv2 - everything is okay, I can add a note, so I click "add a note" and it is also okay: 2. http://prntscr.com/fyxi2d , but then I click "add your comment" below "YOU" text field and it closes! http://prntscr.com/fyxifw 3. after it has closed, I click again on "+" sign, and it opens, in slightly new form: http://prntscr.com/fyxip4 , this time without text "add your comment" then I click in the empty field below "YOU": and this thing shows up: http://prntscr.com/fyxixc http://prntscr.com/fyxj6m http://prntscr.com/fyxjfg So the problem is that it becomes unobvious to students to comment :( - because firstly it closes. WPLMS Demo 2 theme, 2.9.2 version Could you help with that please?July 24, 2017 at 11:27 am #122077H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... The notes and discussion is mainly for private notes its not a comment that anyone can see. The user will have to make the comment public to show to everyone as by default the comment is a private note for the user. This is also explained in the notes and discussion tutorial. ----------- If you want to use it as a comment you should use the per unit style. ----------- Coming to the issue, can you please share the steps to replicate the issue. Here is a small video when I try this. Video : http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbiZX0lv0p In the video you can see how it works, I was not able to see the issue as you described in your reply here. The comments are loaded via ajax, so it takes a few seconds to show.July 24, 2017 at 2:33 pm #122147vizhuSpectatorThanks! password: wplms Screencast link: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbiZ2vlvwh (it's not a private reply for other users, if they need)July 25, 2017 at 11:16 am #122254H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... Thanks for the video, it really helps. As you can see in my video (shared in my previous reply) I click on the + and then directly add the note. But in your video there comes an editor, which is not coming from the wplms. So I guess the issue is caused by the third party plugin which is trying to add the editor in there. Try deactivating this third party plugin and then check if the issue appears.July 25, 2017 at 4:20 pm #122315vizhuSpectatorOh, thanks a lot! I will check one-by-one plugins, and post to this topic the result.July 25, 2017 at 4:26 pm #122316vizhuSpectatorChecked plugins - there are no visual editors. But googling showed that wordpress itself has "visual text editor". Continuing my search.July 25, 2017 at 4:30 pm #122317vizhuSpectatorFound out that it is CKEditor, which is not among my plugins. Looking how to disable it. http://prntscr.com/g051a9July 25, 2017 at 4:31 pm #122318vizhuSpectatorAlso found there was a feature request a year ago, to add ckeditor to wplms: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/integrate-ckeditor-to-wplms/ Probably now it causes this error?
