Issue in the "continue course" button

Hi, I am using modern child theme, the issue is that when a students clicks the "continue course" button the http://websiteurl/course-status page shows HTTP 500 error and says that the website cannot handle this request at the moment. Please help as our users are complaining about it.

I have tried theses steps too but nothing seems to be working: "Please make sure your course status page is set in the wplms->course manage->take this course.   Also try re-saving the permalinks from settings->permalinks."

Please make sure your theme and plugins are updated to the latest version. This error can come if your server php memory has been exhausted, please try contacting your webhost and ask them to increase your php memory limit. Also check the server php error log on your server and also share the screenshot of the last few lines of your error log with us check it.
