December 13, 2016 at 5:07 pm #85036pacworksSpectatorI've been using JetPack with WPLMS for a while because I like their custom CSS editor as as well as their other tools. However, with the new WordPress 4.7 update and their addition of Custom CSS, my JetPack CSS isn't working as it should. At first, I thought it may be a bug with JetPack since they are now tapping into the new WP 4.7 Custom CSS and adding their own features, but upon getting involved in one of their support threads, I actually think that the WPLMS Custom CSS may be conflicting with or overriding the WP 4.7 Custom CSS, which is causing my JetPack CSS not to function correctly. Here is a link to the JetPack thread I was involved in: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-css-lost-on-upgrade-to-4-7/page/2/#post-8545227 Is there a way to disable WPLMS Custom CSS? Also, the JetPack author asked me to see if WPLMS purposely disabled the WP 4.7 Custom CSS, and if so, would you mind sharing how it was done?December 14, 2016 at 11:11 am #85159Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]Participantchecking....December 14, 2016 at 11:26 am #85162Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.December 14, 2016 at 6:08 pm #85211pacworksSpectatorIs that a screenshot of the CSS history from JetPack? If so, how did you get there? If I click on Appearance->Edit CSS as I usually did to edit my JetPack CSS, I am taken to Appearance->Customizer->Additional CSS, which looks like this: http://pac-kevron.com/img/addition-css.JPG. From what I understand, there is supposed to be a CSS editor and History link here to view previous versions of CSS. If I go to Appearance->Customizer->Custom CSS, I get a CSS editor, but it seems to be the one that came with theme. Not the WP 4.7 editor or JetPack editor. The reason I believe it to be the one that came with the theme is because the CSS editor for theme didn't have a scroll bar to quickly scroll to the bottom of the code. If I wanted to get to the bottom of my code, I had to use the mouse wheel. In the WP 4.7 CSS editor, once your code exceeds the view port, a scroll bar appears to quickly scroll through code. The CSS editor I am seeing doesn't scroll, which is why I think it may be the one that came with the theme. If that is the case, I do not know how to access the WP 4.7 CSS editor or the other half of JetPack CSS editor.December 15, 2016 at 12:47 pm #85337Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.December 15, 2016 at 5:18 pm #85403pacworksSpectatorThank you. That explains how to access the CSS history, which I am glad to know, but it still doesn't explain why I am unable to use the JetPack CSS editor or the WP 4.7 CSS editor. Why is the WPLMS Custom CSS overriding/interfering with both of these?December 16, 2016 at 1:17 pm #85554Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantI was able to replicated this on my test site. We will fix this in the coming updates.April 15, 2017 at 1:27 am #107014Prodigy3000SpectatorHi, I also have trouble with Jetpack and WPLMS 2+ (2.5, 2.6, 2.7).
