large text answers not appearing in quiz

This is the first time that we are using the large text option when filling out quizzes. To date we have only used multiple choice or true or false. The questions have been set up as normal and are being seen by the students. However when we come to manually marking the answers, the LMS is not pulling in the answers. I get this every time I look at a submission, I get this message: Unattempted answer, as per screen shot. This is happening for every student. I have some questions marked with allow comments but this doesn't seem to have any effect.

Can you please share your site url and admin credentials to check this issue at your end ? PS : mark reply as private while sharing the credentials .
