location slug

I need a separate taxonomy for courses "Course Type" (workshop, lecture, course, etc), and I'd like all the filters across the site to work with it. So instead of adding a new taxonomy I decided to sacrifice Location taxonomy for that purpose. I changed all the translations in both languages appropriately, but there is only one thing left unsolved: How to change the 'location' slug to say 'type', to preserve all the links and filters working? Can you give an idea how to manage it?  I tried to set the WPLMS_LOCATION_SLUG in config.php, and directody filters are working, although the taxonomy term link doesn't work correctly. Is there actually a possibility that you'll add a location slug setup in permalinks, as you did for other types?
